Listed insurer National Life Insurance Company Limited reported a notable expansion in its life insurance fund, which grew by nearly Tk 904 crore over the past year ending June 2026.
The financial metrics were disclosed on Tuesday (July 21) in the summary of the company’s un-audited second quarter (Q2) financial statements submitted to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
According to the financial statement summary, the company’s consolidated life insurance fund reached Tk 7,102.06 crore as of June 30, 2026. This represents a gain of Tk 903.94 crore compared to the Tk 6,198.12 crore recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
Q2 & First-Half Performance Breakdown

Second Quarter (April–June 2026): Net surplus—calculated after deducting all expenses and claims settled from total income—stood at Tk 204.56 crore, up from Tk 169.08 crore logged during the same three-month window last year.

First Half (January–June 2026): Total net surplus after operational expenses and claim settlements reached Tk 83.76 crore, down from Tk 201.92 crore reported in the same period of 2025.
Cash Flow Position
The company’s consolidated Net Operating Cash Flow Per Share (NOCFPS) held steady, rising to Tk 23.62 for the period ending June 30, 2026, compared to Tk 23.19 per share reported during the same timeline in 2025.
