Summit Alliance Port Limited emerged as the most-traded stock on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s premier bourse, on Wednesday (June 17), the fourth working day of the week.
According to DSE sources, shares worth Tk 99.28 crore of the company were traded on the day. This massive trading volume propelled Summit Alliance Port to the top spot on the daily turnover list.
Beximco Pharmaceuticals PLC secured the second position on the chart, with its shares worth Tk 26.60 crore changing hands. IPDC Finance PLC followed closely in third place, registering a total turnover of Tk 26.10 crore.
Other companies that made it to the top turnover list on the DSE included Bangladesh Building Systems (BBS), BD Thai Aluminium, BRAC Bank, Khan Brothers PP Woven Bag Industries, BDCOM Online, NCC Bank, and Malek Spinning Mills Limited.
