The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has officially launched a new, modern official website aimed at providing investors, capital market stakeholders, and the general public with easier access to information and regulatory services.
The new portal was formally inaugurated on Sunday (September 6), according to a press release signed by BSEC Director and Spokesperson Md. Abul Kalam.
With the launch of the updated platform, users can now conveniently access regulatory framework details, enforcement actions, press releases, tender notices, public interest orders, lists of registered stakeholders, and Initial Public Offering (IPO) as well as Repeat Public Offering (RPO) prospectuses. The site also consolidates various commission services, making data retrieval faster and more efficient for market participants and service seekers.

-
Robust Cyber Security: Advanced security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
-
User-Friendly Interface: Modern, intuitive navigation designed for easy access.
-
Streamlined Information Access: Direct access to essential regulatory services and notices.
Developed under the leadership of BSEC Chairman Masud Khan and the supervision of Commissioner (ICT) Tanvir Habib Rahman, the project was executed by the commission’s ICT Division with technical support from partner technology organizations.
Boosting Transparency and Digital Transformation
BSEC stated that the upgraded portal will play a crucial role in enhancing transparency and accountability within the capital market, ensuring the free flow of information, and expanding investor-friendly services. The initiative is also expected to accelerate the capital market regulator’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.
Following the launch, BSEC decommissioned its previous website. The new official address is sec.gov.bd. Stakeholders and members of the public can submit feedback, suggestions, or opinions regarding the new platform via email at website@sec.gov.bd.
