Stepping into leadership at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting: Andaleeve Rahman Partha, MP serves as the Cabinet Minister, alongside Yasser Khan Chowdhury, MP as the State Minister.
The government has chosen Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Andaleeve Rahman as the new information and broadcasting minister.
A gazette signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani was issued in this regard on Friday night.
According to the gazette, the prime minister has distributed and re-distributed the portfolio under Section 3(4) of Rules of Business, 1996.
Andaleeve took oath as minister on Friday. He became a member of parliament after winning the Bhola-1 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Meanwhile, Yasser Khan Chowdhury will retain his position as the state minister for the ministry.
