Apu Biswas is set to resume work soon, and if all goes as planned, shooting for her upcoming romantic–action–thriller film will begin in December, where actor Ador Azad will star opposite her. Amid this positive momentum, Apu recently spoke to the media about her new projects, professional journey, and various discussions on social media.
When asked about her personal life, Apu made it clear that she does not wish to mix professional commitments with personal matters. Addressing repeated controversies on social media, she said she does not want to say anything that could drag her into unnecessary debate.
Apu stated, “I don’t want to create controversy by saying something that later becomes a weapon against me. I won’t talk about any topic that raises questions about me again and again.”
Asked about the secret behind her glowing appearance, the actress smiled and replied,
“As far as I know, people become beautiful when they receive love. Maybe I look beautiful because I receive love from my fans, viewers, and the people who care for me.”
During the interaction, a journalist asked about the relationship between her son Joy and actor Shakib Khan. In response, Apu mildly smiled and counter-questioned: “Is the relationship between a father and son really something to question?”
She then clarified her stance on keeping personal matters away from professional platforms, revealing that Shakib Khan himself had advised her to do so.
Apu said, “He (Shakib Khan) is a renowned actor. When he stands before the camera, he represents only his work. He told me the same—when you face the camera, remember that you are Apu Biswas the actress. Present your profession, not your personal life.”
