The 13th Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025 is set to commence in the capital on Thursday, October 30th. The three-day major international event will take place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship International Conference Center. The fair is organized by the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB), the leading trade organization in the country’s tourism industry.

Tourism-related organizations, tour operators, and travel agents from 12 countries, including Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan, will be participating. Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited, the national flag carrier of Bangladesh, is the title sponsor for this year’s fair.
These details were announced today, Tuesday (October 28th), at a BTTF press meet held at the Hotel InterContinental Dhaka. The event was chaired by TOAB President, Mr. Md. Rafeuzzaman.
Md. Taslim Amin Shobhon, TOAB Director (Trade and Fair), elaborated on the fair’s background and overall preparations. He stated that this year’s fair has been designed to be significantly more attractive and spectacular than in previous years. The event is supported by various entities of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, including the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, Bangladesh Tourism Board, Bangladesh Tourist Police, and FBCCI.
This year’s international participation includes national tourism organizations and tourism associations from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan. Additionally, tour operators and travel agents from Maldives, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, Philippines, and Turkey will be taking part. International and domestic airlines, tourism boards, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts, cruise liners, and hospitals are participating as exhibitors.
The fair will feature 220 stalls across four halls, including 20 pavilions. Side-line events will include B2B sessions, seminars, and country presentations. Attendees can also enjoy daily cultural programs and documentaries on Bangladeshi tourist destinations, along with an attractive Raffle Draw prize. Only those who enter the fair using the BTTF app will be eligible to participate in the raffle draw. The fair’s payment partner, bKash, will also offer a cashback on the entry fee.
TOAB President Mr. Md. Rafeuzzaman highlighted that TOAB is the premier trade body of the Bangladeshi tourism sector, and BTTF is the country’s largest and most popular tourism fair, which TOAB has been organizing since 2007. The main objectives are to raise tourism awareness and promote its sustainable development. He expressed hope that this year’s fair would generate great enthusiasm among business people, local and foreign tourists, and all those associated with the tourism industry. “This fair will expand Bangladesh’s tourism sector and play a significant role in the national economy,” he added.
Also speaking at the press conference were Ashwani Nayar, General Manager of InterContinental Dhaka (Gold Partner of Biman BTTF 2025), Shahid Hamid, Executive Director of Regency Hotel & Resort Limited (Hospitality Partner), and a representative from bKash (Payment Partner). TOAB’s First Vice President Abul Kalam Azad, Vice President Md. Anwar Hossain, immediate past President Shiblul Azam Koreshi, TOAB directors, steering committee members, and other TOAB officials were also in attendance. The press conference concluded with Mr. Md. Rafeuzzaman addressing various questions from the journalists.
The fair will be open to visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Entry is free for students, freedom fighters, and individuals involved in the 1971 Liberation War.
