Voters at Rajshahi University will cast their votes in the Central Student Council (RACSU), Hall Council, and Senate student representative elections at 17 polling centers with a total of 990 booths.
This information was announced in a notice signed by Professor Mohammad Abdul Hannan, a member of the election commission and head of the sub-committee on polling center arrangements, on Thursday night (September 18). Voting will be conducted across nine academic buildings.

According to the final voters’ list, there are 28,901 voters: 17,596 male students (60.9%) and 11,305 female students (39.14%).
A total of 903 candidates are contesting the elections: 248 for the Central Council, 58 for the Senate student representative, and 597 for Hall Council elections.
Election Process:
Professor Mostafa Kamal Akand, an election commissioner, stated:
“We have decided to conduct counting using the Weimar method, supervised by experts. Each of the 17 centers will have six machines, totaling 102 ballot boxes. The vote count will take place at the RACSU Treasurer’s office and will be under CCTV surveillance. We aim to announce the results within one hour.”
Voting is scheduled for September 25, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the academic buildings, with counting and result announcement on the same day.
