Share Prices and Market Breadth
Out of the total listed institutions traded on the DSE last week, 150 saw their prices increase, while 215 experienced a decline. The prices of 32 institutions remained unchanged. This means that the number of institutions with falling prices was times greater than those with rising prices.
Market Capitalization Growth
Following the week’s trading, the DSE’s market capitalization stood at (7.25 trillion) at the close of the last trading day. This is an increase from recorded at the end of the previous week. Index Performance: DSEX Edges Up

The DSE Shariah Index, comprising Shariah-compliant companies, also saw a slight uptick, rising by points, or . This follows a three-week decline.

Increased Trading Activity
The trading volume on the DSE saw a boost last week. The daily average turnover on the DSE was , up from in the previous week. This translates to an increase in average daily turnover of , or .
